Privacy policy
Last updated: October 7, 2026
sunnysays is a desk companion for Mac by Vlad Mihalachi. This policy covers the app and this website. The short version: the app collects nothing.
The app
- It never accesses your camera or microphone. To stay quiet during calls, it only checks whether another app is using them.
- It makes no network requests of its own. There are no accounts, analytics, ads, tracking or third-party SDKs.
- It stores only your settings, on your computer. It doesn’t keep what Sunny said, when, or what you did.
- If you turn on the notification channel, macOS asks once for permission to show notifications. They are shown on your Mac and go nowhere else.
- Tips are processed by Apple through the App Store. We receive no payment details and nothing that identifies you.
This website
This site sets no cookies and loads no trackers, analytics or third-party scripts. It remembers your light or dark choice in your browser’s local storage, which never leaves your device. Our host, Microsoft Azure, may keep standard server logs (such as IP addresses) for a short time to run and protect the service. We don’t use them to identify anyone.
Children
The app collects nothing from anyone, children included.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new date.
